Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has an overall score of 58.8, which is slightly better than Asus Transformer Prime's 56.3 general score. Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and Asus Transformer Prime were only released 2 months apart, Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is much lighter and somewhat thinner. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has an older 4.0 version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3.

The Asus Transformer Prime counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more processing cores (although slower). Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a little sharper display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a quite greater pixels density.

The Asus Transformer Prime takes way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. Asus Transformer Prime features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a very superior battery life than Asus Transformer Prime.
