Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a lot better than Asus Transformer Prime, having a 68.3 score against 56.3. Both tablets we compare here include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, offering a couple additional features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a much newer tablet, and it's also lighter and thinner than Asus Transformer Prime.

Asus Transformer Prime features a little bit better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Asus Transformer Prime also counts with a larger screen. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a bit more storage for applications and games than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 400 GB.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with just a bit better performance than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a really longer battery duration than Asus Transformer Prime.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a camera with a way lower 5 mega-pixels resolution and a lower (Full HD) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture.

Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is also very cheap compared to the other tablets, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
