Comparison review
Acer Iconia W700 is a little bit better than Asus VivoTab 8, having a 59.6 score against 55.6. The Acer Iconia W700 is a thicker and much heavier tablet device than Asus VivoTab 8. These devices come with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Acer Iconia W700 has 8 Pro version while Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1 version.
The Acer Iconia W700 counts with a little faster processor than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has less and slower CPU cores, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and an extra GPU. Asus VivoTab 8 features a slightly better looking screen than Acer Iconia W700, although it has a really smaller display, a bit worse number of pixels per display inch and a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800px.
The Acer Iconia W700 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a back facing camera with a lot better resolution. The Acer Iconia W700 features a superior memory to install games and applications than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
The Acer Iconia W700's battery life is very similar to Asus VivoTab 8's battery life.
Although Acer Iconia W700 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus VivoTab 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus VivoTab 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Acer Iconia W700, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Asus VivoTab 8, resigning some features and specifications.
