Asus VivoTab 8 Review

Asus VivoTab 8 is a good quality Windows tablet device, which features a good size 8-inches display, a 1860 MHz Quad-Core processor, and two cameras, a 2 MP back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera.

Asus decided to build this tablet device with an extremely powerful Quad-Core processing unit running at 1860 megahertz, included in the Intel Atom Z3745 chip with a big 2 GB RAM. An amazing aspect of the Asus VivoTab 8 is its inmense 32 GB internal storage memory and an SD card slot, more than enough to install lots of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without worrying about how much memory is left.

Apparently Asus decided not to care much about the weight in this 11.64 oz portable tablet. This tablet is incredibly slim and stilized, being just 0.35 inches thick. This tablet is a compact tablet, taking into consideration it has a 8 inches screen and it has just 8.33" long and 4.92 inches wide.

The Asus VivoTab 8 features two cameras, a 2 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front side camera.

Asus equipped this device with a good level 8" display, and a resolution of 1280 x 800 , providing this portable tablet with a nice graphical experience. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The Asus VivoTab 8 offers wi-fi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot). This device doesn't have a SIM card, because it is not a GSM device.

The Asus VivoTab 8 also features a couple interesting features such as Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This tablet is not cheap at all considering it costs $ 250, and some similar tablets are offerred way cheaper than that. In case need a tablet for gaming, this portable tablet is probably the right choice .
