Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a mid-level portable tablet launched back in 2015, featuring a powerful 1.2 GHz processor, a 9.7-inches screen, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. But it's time to get into much more detail.
Samsung did a very nice job making this tablet weight only 15.84 oz. This tablet is a compact tablet, taking into account that it presents a 9.7 inches display and it only has 9.55" long and 6.57" wide. The Tab A 9.7 is incredibly slim, being just 0.29 inches thick. Samsung made this tablet in 3 different colors, gray, blue and white.
This tablet comes with a good performance 1.2 gigahertz CPU, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 chip with a great 1,5 GB RAM. The Tab A 9.7 has a 16 GB quite large internal memory and an external SD slot, which allows the user to store a couple hundred apps and games without running out of space.
This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera. This tablet can also capture videos up to 1280x720 (HD). The camera also counts with a couple of interesting features: auto-focus, geo tagging and face detection shooting.
The Tab A 9.7 comes with a 6000 mAh amazing Li - Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep this tablet running for many hours without charging it. An issue to take into account is that the Tab A 9.7's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to lose capacity, even though with such a huge battery size you will probably discard this tablet before it becomes an issue.
This tablet features Wi-Fi capability (and it can be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot). The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections.
This tablet also features a couple interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth tablets, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.
The Tab A 9.7 is not cheap at all considering it is sold for $ 160, and other similar portable tablets are offerred way cheaper than that. This tablet is a great option for you no matter if you are looking for a tablet for playing games, are a photography fan, want it mostly for social networks and internet browsing or need this portable tablet for work.
