LG G Pad X 8.3 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, getting a global score of 61.1 against 60.4. Although LG G Pad X 8.3 and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 were released with only a few months difference, the LG G Pad X 8.3 construction is somewhat lighter but somewhat thicker. Both tablets in this comparison work with the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system).

The LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a way greater pixel density. The LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

LG G Pad X 8.3's storage for applications and games is very similar to the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage and an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has better battery performance than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4800mAh.

LG G Pad X 8.3 shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a lot better 1920x1080 video quality.

Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, the LG G Pad X 8.3 is also cheaper than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, which makes it easy to pick between these devices.
