Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a global score of 60.4, which is slightly better than the Asus VivoTab 8's 55.6 global score. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with Android 5.0 OS, and Asus VivoTab 8 counts with Windows 8.1 OS. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 body is noticeably heavier but thinner than Asus VivoTab 8. Asus VivoTab 8 features a much better display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a better pixels density.
Asus VivoTab 8 has a better processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a lot higher 5 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back. Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a very superior battery duration than Asus VivoTab 8.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making this tablet a no doubt choice.
