Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro is a bit better than the Asus VivoTab 8, with a score of 58.7 against 55.6. Although it's the best we compare here, the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro is a noticeably heavier and a little bit thicker portable tablet than the Asus VivoTab 8. Microsoft Surface 9 Pro has Windows OS, while Asus VivoTab 8 counts with Windows 8.1 OS.
The Asus VivoTab 8 features a much better performing processing unit than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with more CPU cores. Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a lot lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, a way lower pixel density and a lot smaller display.
The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro counts with a better camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a camera with a way higher 10 MP resolution. The Microsoft Surface 9 Pro features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
