Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro has an overall score of 63.2, which is better than the Asus VivoTab 8's 55.6 score. Both devices in this review have Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro has the previous 8 Pro version while Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro construction is extremely thicker and incredibly heavier than Asus VivoTab 8.
Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a little better performance than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores and slower, it also counts with a graphics processor and 2 GB more RAM. The Asus VivoTab 8 has a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a lot lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, a bit lower count of pixels per inch in the display and a lot smaller screen.
Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a slightly better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a back-facing camera with way more MP. The Microsoft Surface Pro has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Asus VivoTab 8 and Microsoft Surface Pro count with similar battery durations.
The Microsoft Surface Pro is way more expensive than the Asus VivoTab 8, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
