The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a score of 66.9, which is a lot better than Asus VivoTab 8's 55.6 score. Both of these devices use Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has 10 version and Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 construction is a little bit thinner but much heavier than the Asus VivoTab 8.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a bit better hardware performance than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with more RAM. The Asus VivoTab 8 features a little sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a much smaller screen, a way worse 1280 x 800 resolution and a much lower count of pixels in each inch in the display.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery life in Asus VivoTab 8.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab 8, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
