Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a lot better than the Asus VivoTab 8, getting a 69.2 score against 55.6. These tablets use Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has older 8 version while Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1 version. Samsung ATIV Tab 5's body is thicker and much heavier than the Asus VivoTab 8.
Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a little sharper display than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 800px and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a better display pixels density. Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus VivoTab 8 also has a higher number of faster cores.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a very superior camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a back facing camera with a lot higher 8 MP resolution. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
