Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is much better than Asus VivoTab 8's overall score of 55.6. Both of these tablets have Windows OS (Operating System), but Samsung Ativ Tab has the newer RT version and Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1 version, so it offers some extra features. Samsung Ativ Tab is a a lot heavier tablet than Asus VivoTab 8, but they are equally thin.
The Asus VivoTab 8 has a sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a quite lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixels density. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Asus VivoTab 8, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal memory.
The Asus VivoTab 8 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus VivoTab 8 also counts with a greater number of cores. Samsung Ativ Tab features a way better battery duration than Asus VivoTab 8.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a better camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
Samsung Ativ Tab is a lot more expensive than Asus VivoTab 8, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
