Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 7 is much better than Asus VivoTab 8, getting a overall score of 64.9 against 55.6. Both tablets we compare here come with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has 8 version while Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1. Despite being the best tablet device in this comparison review, Samsung ATIV Tab 7 is a way heavier and noticeably thicker tablet device than the Asus VivoTab 8.
Asus VivoTab 8 features a much better performing processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory and doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores. Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a more vivid display than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, although it has a just a little inferior number of pixels per screen inch, a lot smaller screen and a way lower 1280 x 800 resolution.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a much more megapixels back facing camera. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 counts with much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Asus VivoTab 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 counts with a battery duration that's very similar to the Asus VivoTab 8 one.
