Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is better than Asus VivoTab 8, having a score of 65 against 55.6. Although it's the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) body is a little thicker and extremely heavier than the Asus VivoTab 8. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with Android 4.1 OS, while Asus VivoTab 8 comes with Windows 8.1 OS.

Asus VivoTab 8 has a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the Asus VivoTab 8 also counts with a better display pixels density. The Asus VivoTab 8 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and more cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a slightly better camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels. Asus VivoTab 8 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a really longer battery life than Asus VivoTab 8.
