Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a global score of 62.8, which is much better than the Asus VivoTab 8's 55.6 overall score. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 comes with Android 7.1 Nougat OS, and Asus VivoTab 8 counts with Windows 8.1 OS. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's design is just a bit lighter and thinner than Asus VivoTab 8. Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Asus VivoTab 8 also has a little bit better pixels density and a quite better resolution of 1280 x 800.

The Asus VivoTab 8 features a bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Asus VivoTab 8 also has 512 MB more RAM.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 takes much better photographs and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a much better resolution camera in the back. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a much better battery duration than Asus VivoTab 8.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it a no doubt choice.
