Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 has an overall score of 70, which is a lot better than the Asus VivoTab 8's 55.6 score. Galaxy Tab Active 2 comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and Asus VivoTab 8 works with Windows 8.1 operating system. Although it's the best tablet in this comparison review, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a thicker and heavier tablet than the Asus VivoTab 8.
Asus VivoTab 8 features a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2. They have a better pixels count in each screen inch, the same 1280 x 800px resolution and a display with the same size. Asus VivoTab 8 features a bit bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a SD extension slot that allows 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a little faster processing unit than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has 4 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a much longer battery life than Asus VivoTab 8. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a way better camera than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a much better 8 MP resolution back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
