Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy View is better than Asus VivoTab 8, getting a score of 61.5 against 55.6. Samsung Galaxy View is a a lot thicker and much heavier tablet than Asus VivoTab 8. Asus VivoTab 8 counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy View, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800, it also counts with a lot higher screen density.

Galaxy View counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Asus VivoTab 8, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Galaxy View also has 4 more CPU cores. The Asus VivoTab 8 takes greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy View. Galaxy View features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

Samsung Galaxy View has a much better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab 8.

Although Galaxy View is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus VivoTab 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab 8. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Asus VivoTab 8, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
