Comparison review
The Xperia Tablet Z is way better than the Asus VivoTab 8, getting a 68.5 score against 55.6. The Xperia Tablet Z is a a lot heavier but way thinner tablet than Asus VivoTab 8. Xperia Tablet Z has Android 4.4.4 operating system, and Asus VivoTab 8 has Windows 8.1 operating system. The Xperia Tablet Z's processor is very similar to the processing unit in Asus VivoTab 8, and although the Xperia Tablet Z has a graphics processor, they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a little bit better looking screen than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a much higher 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution, a bigger screen and a little more pixels per inch of display. The Xperia Tablet Z's memory to install applications and games is very similar to the Asus VivoTab 8 one, both of them have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that admits up to 64 GB.
The Xperia Tablet Z captures greater photos and videos than Asus VivoTab 8, because it has a lot higher resolution back facing camera. Xperia Tablet Z counts with a way better battery life than Asus VivoTab 8.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z is way more expensive than the Asus VivoTab 8, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
