Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way better than the Asus VivoTab, getting a general score of 72.2 against 57.5. Both of these tablets work with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has 8.1 Pro version while Asus VivoTab has Windows 8. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is newer than Asus VivoTab's, although it is somewhat heavier and a little thicker.
The Asus VivoTab features a bit better processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Asus VivoTab also counts with a GPU. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a sharper display than Asus VivoTab, because it has a bit bigger screen, a lot higher display density and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2160px.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much bigger storage for apps and games than Asus VivoTab, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Asus VivoTab both feature really similar battery performance. The Asus VivoTab counts with a slightly better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Asus VivoTab also has a back-facing camera with a way better resolution.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
