Comparison review

Microsoft Surface RT is slightly better than Asus VivoTab, with a 58.4 score against 57.5. Although it's the best portable tablet we are comparing, Microsoft Surface RT is an a little heavier and a little bit thicker portable tablet than the Asus VivoTab. These tablets come with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface RT has newer RT version while Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 version, providing you some nice extra features and some performance improvements.

Microsoft Surface RT counts with a bit more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 768 x 1366 resolution, the Microsoft Surface RT also counts with a quite better pixels count per inch of display. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with as much memory for applications, games, photos and videos as the Asus VivoTab, and although the Microsoft Surface RT has no slot for external memory cards, they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity.

The Asus VivoTab counts with a little faster processor than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has lesser processing cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus VivoTab also counts with a better graphics processor running at 533 MHz. Asus VivoTab captures much better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Asus VivoTab also has a way higher resolution back facing camera.

Microsoft Surface RT's battery duration is very similar to Asus VivoTab's battery lifetime.

In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Microsoft Surface RT is also by far the cheapest.
