Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system, and Asus VivoTab counts with Windows 8 operating system. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's design is a little bit thicker but lighter than Asus VivoTab, and both were released with only a couple months difference.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a bit better screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a little bit lower 800 x 1280px resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better screen pixel density. Asus VivoTab counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster), and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Asus VivoTab also counts with an extra graphics processor.

The Asus VivoTab has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's battery performance is very similar to Asus VivoTab's battery performance.

The Asus VivoTab features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a back facing camera with way more MP and a way higher (Full HD) video quality.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus VivoTab, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Asus VivoTab, letting go some specs and features.
