Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 10.1 is slightly better than the Asus VivoTab, having a 58.1 score against 57.5. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Android 4.0.4 operating system, while Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 operating system. Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a lighter device than the Asus VivoTab, but both of them have the same thickness.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a bit better looking display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a bit lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better display density. Asus VivoTab counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more internal memory.

The Asus VivoTab has a better processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab also has an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab. Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a camera that is just as good as Asus VivoTab's camera, although the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a way lower 3 MP resolution back camera and a worse 1920x1080 video definition.

Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus VivoTab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus VivoTab. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Asus VivoTab, giving up some features and specs.
