Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is much better than the Asus VivoTab, with a global score of 65.7 against 57.5. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's design is much newer, notably thinner and noticeably lighter than Asus VivoTab. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 comes with Android operating system, while Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 operating system.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features just a little better processing power than Asus VivoTab, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also counts with a higher number of cores. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a much higher pixel count per inch in the screen and a lot better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 takes much clearer videos and photos than Asus VivoTab. Both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back camera. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features as much storage to install games and applications as the Asus VivoTab one, and although the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has no SD memory card expansion slot, they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a much better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is also a bargain compared to others, making it an obvious call.
