Microsoft Surface Go is better than Asus VivoTab Note 8, having a overall score of 66.5 against 57.5. Microsoft Surface Go's construction is extremely heavier but way thinner than the Asus VivoTab Note 8. Both of these devices have Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Go has newer 10 version while Asus VivoTab Note 8 has Windows 8.1 version.

The Asus VivoTab Note 8 features just a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has 6 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores. The Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a brighter screen than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, a really smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Microsoft Surface Go features just a bit better camera than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because it has a way better resolution camera in the back. The Microsoft Surface Go has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
