Asus VivoTab Note 8 Review

Asus VivoTab Note 8 is a nice tablet, packed with a high speed Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1860 MHz, a good size 8-inches multi-touch capacitive screen, and two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 1.2 MP front facing camera.

This device doesn't feel very lightweight comparing to other tablets , with a weight of 13.4 ounces. Asus just sells the Asus VivoTab Note 8 in color black. This device is quite a compact tablet, taking into account that it packs a 8" screen and it's just 8.7 inches long and 5.27 inches wide. Although this device is quite thin and comfortable it's not as thin as many other portable tablets currently available, with a thickness of 0.43".

Asus packed this device with an average 8-inches display, and a resolution of 1280 x 800 , which makes all photos and movies look quite colorful and brightful. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

Asus decided to equip this tablet with a Intel Atom Z3740 system chip, holding a very fast Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1860 MHz with a huge 2 GB RAM.
