Microsoft Surface Pro is better than Asus VivoTab Note 8, with a 63.2 score against 57.5. Both tablets in this comparison have Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro has 8 Pro version and Asus VivoTab Note 8 has Windows 8.1 version. Despite being the best we compare here, the Microsoft Surface Pro construction is somewhat thicker and extremely heavier than the Asus VivoTab Note 8.

The Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a way lower 1280 x 800 resolution, a just a little lower pixel amount per inch of display and a much smaller screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a little better performance than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because although it has 2 lesser and slower processing cores, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and an additional GPU.
