Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way better than the Asus VivoTab Note 8, getting a overall score of 72.2 against 57.5. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 design is thinner but way heavier than the Asus VivoTab Note 8. These tablets come with Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has newer 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab Note 8 has Windows 8.1, offering lots of additional features.
The Asus VivoTab Note 8 has a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a much smaller screen, a quite lower quantity of pixels per screen inch and a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800. The Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features just a bit better camera than Asus VivoTab Note 8. Both of them have a 5 MP back camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
