Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a general score of 66.9, which is much better than the Asus VivoTab Note 8's 57.5 overall score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a thinner but heavier tablet than the Asus VivoTab Note 8. These devices have Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a newer 10 version and Asus VivoTab Note 8 has Windows 8.1, counting with a lot of extra features and optimized performance.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has just a little better performance than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. Asus VivoTab Note 8 has a slightly better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a way worse pixel amount per inch of display, a way worse 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and a much smaller screen.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7's battery lifetime is very similar to Asus VivoTab Note 8's battery lifetime.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because it has a lot more mega pixels camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus VivoTab Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus VivoTab Note 8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Asus VivoTab Note 8, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
