Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 is better than the Asus VivoTab Note 8, with a global score of 64.9 against 57.5. Both of these tablets have Windows OS (Operating System), but the Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has the older 8 version and Asus VivoTab Note 8 has Windows 8.1. Even being the best tablet device we compare here, the Samsung ATIV Tab 7 is a a lot heavier and a little thicker tablet device than Asus VivoTab Note 8.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with a better looking display than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, although it has a bit inferior pixels quantity in each inch in the screen, a lot lower 1280 x 800 resolution and a way smaller screen. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Asus VivoTab Note 8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with a lot better performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has lesser RAM and doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a battery performance that is just as good as the Asus VivoTab Note 8 one.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Asus VivoTab Note 8. Both have a back facing camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution.
