The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a global score of 58.1, which is slightly better than the Asus VivoTab Note 8's 57.5 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Android 4.0.4 OS, while Asus VivoTab Note 8 comes with Windows 8.1 OS. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 construction is way heavier but notably thinner than Asus VivoTab Note 8.

The Asus VivoTab Note 8 has a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster). Asus VivoTab Note 8 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus VivoTab Note 8 also counts with more pixels per screen inch.
