The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a bit better than Asus VivoTab Note 8, with a overall score of 60.5 against 57.5. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, while Asus VivoTab Note 8 has Windows 8.1 operating system. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 body is heavier but incredibly thinner than Asus VivoTab Note 8.

Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with a way better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and a higher screen pixel density. The Asus VivoTab Note 8 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Asus VivoTab Note 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a slightly better camera than Asus VivoTab Note 8. Both have a camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution.
