Galaxy Tab Active has a score of 67, which is better than the Asus VivoTab Note 8's global score of 57.5. Galaxy Tab Active is a a little bit heavier but thinner tablet device than Asus VivoTab Note 8. The Galaxy Tab Active has Android 4.4 OS, while Asus VivoTab Note 8 counts with Windows 8.1 OS. Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Asus VivoTab Note 8 also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab Active. Both have an equal 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the same display density and a display of the same size. Galaxy Tab Active takes slightly better photos and videos than Asus VivoTab Note 8, although it has a camera in the back with lot less megapixels resolution.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 has a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab Active features a very superior battery duration than Asus VivoTab Note 8.
The Galaxy Tab Active costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab Note 8, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
