Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro is a little bit better than the Asus VivoTab RT, getting a global score of 63.2 against 61. Even being the best in this comparison review, Microsoft Surface Pro is a noticeably thicker and extremely heavier tablet device than Asus VivoTab RT. Both of these tablets include Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface Pro has the older 8 Pro version and Asus VivoTab RT has Windows RT.
Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a bit better hardware performance than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro features a bit more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because it has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a greater screen density and a bit bigger screen.
Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Asus VivoTab RT shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a camera in the back with lot more MP and a lot better video definition.
The Microsoft Surface Pro's battery duration is just as good as the Asus VivoTab RT one.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus VivoTab RT. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus VivoTab RT, resigning some features and specs.
