Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot better than the Asus VivoTab RT, with an 82.4 score against 61. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a much heavier device than Asus VivoTab RT, but both of them have the same thickness. Both of these tablets include Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has 10 Pro version and Asus VivoTab RT has Windows RT version.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a better screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because it has a much better 2736 x 1824 resolution, a larger screen and a way higher pixels quantity per screen inch. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a bit better processing unit than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
Asus VivoTab RT shoots much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). Both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rate and the same resolution camera. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s battery lifetime is very similar to Asus VivoTab RT's battery life.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus VivoTab RT. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus VivoTab RT, giving up some features and specs.
