Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is just a bit better than Asus VivoTab RT, getting a global score of 66.7 against 61. Despite being the best in this review, the Samsung Ativ Tab design is just a bit thicker and a little bit heavier than the Asus VivoTab RT. These devices have the same Windows RT operating system, so both should provide identical operating system features.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit better performance than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores (but faster), and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Samsung Ativ Tab also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Samsung Ativ Tab and Asus VivoTab RT have quite similar displays, both have a same size screen, the same 768 x 1366px resolution and the same count of pixels per inch of display.
Asus VivoTab RT shoots greater videos and photos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a way higher resolution camera in the back and a way better (Full HD) video resolution. Samsung Ativ Tab has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Asus VivoTab RT. Both of them have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab RT. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save some dollars and buy the Asus VivoTab RT, giving up some features and specs.
