Comparison review
The Acer Iconia W4 has a general score of 59.3, which is just a bit better than the Asus VivoTab Smart's global score of 58.7. These tablets include Windows OS, but Acer Iconia W4 has 8.1 version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8. Acer Iconia W4's body is a little thicker but notably lighter than Asus VivoTab Smart.
The Acer Iconia W4 has a more vivid display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a way smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a bit better display pixels density. The Acer Iconia W4's memory for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Asus VivoTab Smart's one, and although the Acer Iconia W4 has no SD memory slot, they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a bit faster CPU than Acer Iconia W4, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with a GPU. Asus VivoTab Smart takes just a bit better photos and videos than Acer Iconia W4, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a much more mega pixels camera.
Acer Iconia W4 features a superior battery performance than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although Acer Iconia W4 is a better device, it costs more than Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus VivoTab Smart. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Acer Iconia W4, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus VivoTab Smart, giving up some features and specifications.
