Comparison review
Acer Iconia W700 is a little bit better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, having a overall score of 59.6 against 58.7. Even being the best tablet in this review, the Acer Iconia W700 is a noticeably thicker and a lot heavier tablet than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both tablets in this review use Windows OS, but Acer Iconia W700 has 8 Pro version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8.
The Acer Iconia W700 counts with a little faster processing unit than Asus VivoTab Smart, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Acer Iconia W700 also has more RAM and a faster GPU. Acer Iconia W700 has a little more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch of screen, a better 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit larger screen.
Acer Iconia W700 counts with a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Asus VivoTab Smart shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Acer Iconia W700, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a back camera with much more megapixels.
The Asus VivoTab Smart and the Acer Iconia W700 count with quite similar batteries duration.
Although Acer Iconia W700 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus VivoTab Smart. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Asus VivoTab Smart, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
