Comparison review
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a score of 64.2, which is slightly better than Asus VivoTab Smart's 58.7 score. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 design is noticeably lighter and just a bit thinner than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both devices we compare here use Windows OS (Operating System), but Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has the newer 8.1 version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a brighter screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a way greater screen pixel density. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with a little faster CPU than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 also counts with a higher number of cores.
The Asus VivoTab Smart features a much better camera than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. Both of them have the same (Full HD) video definition, the same resolution back camera and the same video frame rate. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8's battery duration is very similar to the Asus VivoTab Smart one.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
