Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way better than Asus VivoTab Smart, with a overall score of 72.2 against 58.7. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a a little thinner but extremely heavier tablet than the Asus VivoTab Smart. These tablets work with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has the newer 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version, providing lots of additional features.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a little sharper display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a greater pixel density, a larger display and a much better 1440 x 2160 resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's battery duration is very similar to the battery performance in Asus VivoTab Smart.
Asus VivoTab Smart takes a lot better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a way better 8 megapixels resolution camera.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way more expensive than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
