Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has an overall score of 66.9, which is better than Asus VivoTab Smart's global score of 58.7. Both of these devices use Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has the newer 10 version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version, giving you a couple additional features and performance improvements. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a thinner but noticeably heavier device than the Asus VivoTab Smart.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a bit superior processor than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a much better looking display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a lot better 2736 x 1824 resolution, a much higher pixel number per inch of screen and a bigger display.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a battery performance that's very similar to the battery life in Asus VivoTab Smart.
The Asus VivoTab Smart shoots better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 7. They have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same resolution back facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab Smart. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 7, otherwise you can save some money and get the Asus VivoTab Smart, letting go a couple features and specifications.
