Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, with a 66.7 score against 58.7. Both tablets we compare here include Windows OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Ativ Tab has the newer RT version while Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version, counting with some extra features and some performance improvements. The Samsung Ativ Tab construction is a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Asus VivoTab Smart has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Dual-Core CPU, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a better 533 megahertz graphics co-processor. The Asus VivoTab Smart has a little sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab. They have the same 768 x 1366px resolution, a display of the same size and a greater pixel amount per display inch.
Asus VivoTab Smart has a very superior camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back camera with much more mega-pixels. Samsung Ativ Tab has a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a very superior battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab Smart. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Asus VivoTab Smart, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
