The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is slightly better than Asus VivoTab Smart, having a score of 63 against 58.7. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a a bit heavier but a bit thinner portable tablet than the Asus VivoTab Smart. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE works with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Asus VivoTab Smart comes with Windows 8 OS.

The Asus VivoTab Smart features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a same size display, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a little bit higher 768 x 1366 pixels resolution and a quite better screen density.

The Asus VivoTab Smart has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a battery lifetime that's very similar to Asus VivoTab Smart's battery lifetime.

The Asus VivoTab Smart captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a much more mega pixels back-facing camera and a lot higher video quality.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus VivoTab Smart. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Asus VivoTab Smart, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
