Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, with a general score of 70 against 58.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2's body is incredibly lighter but a little thicker than the Asus VivoTab Smart. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS, and Asus VivoTab Smart counts with Windows 8 OS.
Asus VivoTab Smart has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a quite lower pixel density, it also counts with a bigger screen and a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1366. Asus VivoTab Smart features a slightly bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a processing unit that's just as good as the CPU in Asus VivoTab Smart, because although the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a way better battery performance than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rate and a back facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
