Asus ZenPad 10 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a 63.6 score against 58.1. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but Asus ZenPad 10 has a more recent 7.0 Nougat version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. Even though the Asus ZenPad 10 is notably newer than Galaxy Tab 8.9, it's a bit thicker and a little bit heavier.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with just a bit better looking display than Asus ZenPad 10, although it has a just a little lower display pixels density, a bit smaller display and a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution. Asus ZenPad 10 has a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has more CPU cores.
The Asus ZenPad 10 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back-facing camera with much more MP. Asus ZenPad 10 has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Asus ZenPad 10 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features better battery duration than Asus ZenPad 10, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4680mAh.
