The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has an overall score of 68.3, which is slightly better than Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE's 64.8 global score. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, offering lots of additional features and a performance increase. Although Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much thicker than Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE, it's way lighter and newer.
The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a bigger screen, a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a better pixels amount in each display inch.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has an external SD slot that supports up to 400 GB. Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE counts with a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has 7800mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a greater camera than Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE, although it has a lot less megapixels resolution camera and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
