Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is better than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0, getting a 69.2 score against 62.2. Even being the best tablet device in this comparison review, the Galaxy Note 8.0 body is notably older, thicker and somewhat heavier than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a same size display, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a way better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot higher quantity of pixels per display inch. Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little bit better camera than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, although it has a much worse 1280x720 video resolution and a back camera with a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and 64 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much longer battery duration than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
