The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is a bit better than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0's score of 62.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s construction is incredibly newer, but heavier and incredibly thicker than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a display with the same size, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a way higher pixels density and a way better 1536 x 2048 resolution.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a bit superior processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have 4 cores, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots way better photos and videos than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, although it has a lower (Full HD) video definition and a camera in the back with a much lower 5 MP resolution.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a bit more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a SD extension slot that holds 272 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a much better battery performance than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
