Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than Asus ZenPad Z8, with a 67.9 score against 61.9. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a somewhat heavier tablet than the Asus ZenPad Z8, but both of them are equally thin. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit better processing power than Asus ZenPad Z8, although it has 2 less cpu cores , they both have a 2 GB RAM.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a sharper screen than Asus ZenPad Z8, because it has a just a little more pixels per screen inch, a bit higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a bit bigger screen. The Asus ZenPad Z8 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have a 8 MP resolution back camera, the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Asus ZenPad Z8 also has a bigger aperture to capture better low light photography.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has more memory for apps and games than Asus ZenPad Z8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ZenPad Z8 counts with a much better battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
