Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is better than the Asus ZenPad Z8, having a 68.5 score against 61.9. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 construction is much older, somewhat heavier and a little thicker than the Asus ZenPad Z8. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit better processor than Asus ZenPad Z8, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a more vivid display than Asus ZenPad Z8, because it has a bit higher 1600 x 2560 resolution, a just a bit greater pixels density and a bit bigger display. The Asus ZenPad Z8 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the Asus ZenPad Z8 also has a larger aperture for better low light photos.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with more memory for apps and games than Asus ZenPad Z8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Asus ZenPad Z8 counts with a really longer battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
