Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is just a bit better than the Asus ZenPad Z8, having a 63.4 score against 61.9. Despite being the best device we are comparing here, it must be noted that it is also a way older, noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker device. Asus ZenPad Z8 has a little faster processing unit than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Asus ZenPad Z8 also has a larger number of cores.
The Asus ZenPad Z8 has a little bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a lot higher pixels quantity per inch in the display. The Asus ZenPad Z8 counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Asus ZenPad Z8 also has a much higher 8 MP resolution back-facing camera.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with more storage for apps and games than Asus ZenPad Z8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Asus ZenPad Z8 has a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2.
